چکیده

Enhancing the frequency band of electromagnetic wave is regarded as an efficient way to solve communication blackout problem. In this paper, incident raised Terahertz (THz) and radar cross section (RCS) three-dimensional conductive model calculated simulated based on Runge–Kutta Exponential Time Differencing–Finite Difference Domain method (RKETD-FDTD). Interaction THz magnetized plasma sheath discussed. Attenuations in frequencies 0.34 3 GHz different densities are analyzed. The monostatic RCS used compare penetration while bistatic fixed study its characteristics. simulation result has almost same that without coating when reaches THz. advantages at increasing reducing attenuation demonstrated from aspects including polarizations, angles, magnetization anisotropy plasma, thickness scan planes inhomogeneous distribution plasma. It can be concluded unique applied problem interruption.

Radar Cross Section Measurements of Frequency Selective Terahertz Retroreflectors

The radar cross section of spherical retroreflectors operating at terahertz frequencies is investigated. Several spherical retroreflectors with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 8 mm were fabricated and their radar cross section was measured at 100 GHz, 160 GHz, and 350 GHz. A frequency selective surface was applied to the retroreflectors to demonstrate proof of concept of narrow-band terahertz re...

Radar cross-section (RCS) analysis of high frequency surface wave radar targets

Realistic high frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) targets are investigated numerically in terms of electromagnetic wave – target interactions. Radar cross sections (RCS) of these targets are simulated via both the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and the Method of Moments (MoM). The virtual RCS prediction tool that was introduced in previous work is used for these investigations. T...

Terahertz Imaging, Millimeter-wave Radar

The millimeter wave (MMW) band of frequencies extends from 30 GHz to 300 GHz, with some fuzziness on both ends of this spectrum. The terahertz (THz) band extends from about 200 GHz to about 30 THz, despite the fact that the lower frequencies in this range are not strictly 10 Hz or higher. These bands are also variously called submillimeter, far-infrared, and near-millimeter. In recent years, th...

A Radar Cross-Section Model for Power Lines at Millimeter-Wave Frequencies

The knowledge of radar backscatter characteristics of high-voltage power lines is of great importance in the development of a millimeter-wave wire detection system. In this paper, a very high-frequency technique based on an iterative physical optics approach is developed for predicting polarimetric radar backscattering behavior of power lines of arbitrary strand arrangement. In the proposed sca...
